Happy 2017!!

Wow!!  It is hard to believe that we are already into March 2017.  I admit and apologize that I have not been a regular newsletter poster.  Most of you know that my husband’s health issues have been a major concern for years.  In August of 2011, a hospital doctor administered a drug that interacted with another drug he was routinely taking.  The enhancement of his normal safe drug dosage of 12mg of Tizanidine became a monster potentiated dose of 84 to 120 mg.  To date, my husband is the only known survivor of this happening.  I had to drop out of medical coding classes, of which I only had four months left, and become a full time caregiver for my husband.  Finally, last year, 2016, my husband started making progress in his recovery from the CIPRO/Tizandine potentiation he suffered in 2011.

This year, 2017, is going to be a great year.  My husband’s progress has been remarkable.  Although there  was bodily damage from the drug combination, he is improving each day.  God has held and is still holding our hands as we walk through his recovery and the daily living of our lives.  The precious grandchild that was in the womb at the time of Mark’s injuries, is now five years old and loves his grandpa’s beard tickles.

In 2014, God gave me a vision that told me he would heal my husband and then would bring restoration and justice to him for the injuries he experienced.   This year will be the year of restoration and justice for my husband.  Indeed, it has already started.  Let this newsletter, my first letter of 2017 be a testimony to the greatness of our God, who, in ALL THINGS is FAITHFUL!   All I need to know is God loves me and my family.  All God expects from me is found in the Holy Bible, Old Testament Book Micah Chapter 6, Verse 8, “He hath shown thee, Oh man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.

Amen!
