About

“I was blessed to have been born in the beautiful mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina.  My early childhood was spent playing and exploring on my grandparents farm.  One of my grandma’s old pocketbooks became my first art bag.  Filled with  pencils, bits and pieces of crayons and a coloring book and paper tablet, I practiced drawing anything that didn’t run off.  Having a grandmother and mother who enjoyed sharing in my love of drawing and coloring gave me a solid love of creating artwork.”  – Dianna Carter, artist  “Village of Yesteryear” North Carolina State Fair (1987 – 1992)

Dianna’s love of creating art can be seen in both her ceramic artwork and her watercolor, pastel and mixed media paintings.
